Empty Spaces

I occasionally venture down to an area of Cleveland, Ohio where 2 abortion clinics are located about a block apart. I see a neat and tidy city playground located barely half a block from the clinics. Though the playground boasts soft green grass, a variety of inviting swings and climbing sets, and an attractive fence to protect little guests from the busy road, it is, invariably, completely empty. “No one is enjoying the park” I observe. “Where are the children that used to be in this neighborhood?”

For Father’s that have suffered from abortion…

Yesterday on Father's Day, I was reminded of a few men I've had the privilege of meeting in pro-life work. The reason why they came to mind is because Father's Day must take on special meaning for them. Not only are they fathers themselves, but they have also lost a child. Remain in the Vine

I recently came across an un-hatched goose egg while walking a trail near Shaker Lakes in Cleveland. After a little detective work, I found the empty nest about four feet away. Somehow this poor egg was separated from the nest, and apparently failed to hatch. Do we really grasp that apart from Christ, we are in effect, just like that egg?
