These Dead Shall Not Have Died In Vain
I recently spent the weekend in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. While I was there I had an opportunity to spend some quiet times in the National Cemetery in the Gettysburg National Military Park. Walking among the graves of those who gave the last full meaure of devotion at Gettysburg I began to pray and think about President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address which he delivered in that very cemetery a little over four months after the epic battle that was fought there. He said "these dead shall not have died in vain" and they certainly apply to the 42 million unborn lives around the world that are cut short every year by abortion.
