From Debbie Trump on the Hilo/Hamakua Coast

The ICU Mobile would be a long awaited answer to prayer for the Big Island of Hawaii.

Every week both the Kohala (north) and Kona (west) Pregnancy Centers receive numerous phone calls from women living on the east side of the island ( Hilo, Keeau, Honokaa and Waimea).  These women are between two to three hours away from our centers by car, and three to four hours by bus.  They usually don’t have transportation so we rarely see them as clients.  Yet, they have abortion doctors available to them in their communities.

In the last three years we have attempted to open a permanent center on the east side of the island, hoping to be able to serve women there.  These attempts have failed time and again, most recently this past fall due to unforeseen medical conditions of the staff and supporters.  It has been spiritual warfare for sure.  The day before the opportunity closed we heard about ICU Mobile from friends in Nevada.  We quickly realized how much better and more effective a mobile vehicle would be for our island and that ICU Mobile was clearly the leader in mobile ultrasound ministry.

We then made contact with Michael at ICU Mobile and are now hoping that this would be God’s will for our island.

When I received the call from Debbie Trump in Hawaii and learned about the women needing help in Hilo, Keeau, Honokaa and Waimea, I was moved beyond words.  After some prayer, God was showing me that ICU Mobile was uniquely equipped to reach the women and unborn children of the Hamakua Coast.  Since my initial call with Debbie, there hasn’t been a day when I haven’t thought about Hawaii and getting an ICU Mobile to the women on this part of the Big Island.  We need your help to make this a reality.  Will you join with me to help purchase, equip and send an ICU Mobile to reveal life to the women of the Hamakua Coast?  Together we can show these women the love they need, reveal life growing inside of them, provide the care they seek and share the hope they can have in Christ.
